MANILA, Philippines–Property giant Ayala Land Inc. broke ground for a business process outsourcing (BPO) campus in Talisay City in Negros Occidental, a project seen creating more than 15,000 jobs for the local community from BPO offices, retailers and support services upon completion.

The Ayala North Point TechnoHub is envisioned to be a fully integrated information technology (IT) and IT-enabled services community designed for 24/7 operations, according to ALI’s press statement on Wednesday.

Upon completion, the campus will consist of several low-rise BPO facilities with a total gross leasable area (GLA) of about 40,000 square meters, supported by a retail component on the ground floor of each office building, all within a 215-hecatare property that Ayala Land has been developing in the city.

“We are immensely pleased that we continue to increase our presence here in Talisay City,” said ALI senior vice president Marivic Añonuevo. “This is in line with Ayala Land’s growth strategy to bring our developments across the country through the creation and development of sustainable communities, and Talisay is one of the major growth centers Ayala Land would like to have a strong presence in.”

Ayala Land has existing residential projects in Talisay, including Ayala North Point, Verdana Homes Plantazzione, and Verdana Homes Asyana.

She said this project would bring the success of the company’s existing environment-friendly office developments such as the UP-AyalaLand TechnoHub in Quezon City and One Evotech in NUVALI, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, to the Talisay community.

The initial phase of the project will involve the construction of the first two-story building with around 4,500 square meters of GLA. It is scheduled to be completed by the first quarter of 2011.

Residents are Expected to Live the Good Life – at Own Pace

September 27, 2010, 7:46pm

MANILA, Philippines – Everyone invests in something, whether it’s in their education, their children’s future or a place to call home. At Montecito, investing on a home can also be considered an investment on personal, environmental and financial gains.

Offering the lowest-density development since Forbes Park, Montecito by Ayala Land Premier is a sprawling 60-hectare property situated in the ecologically sustainable Nuvali area.

With some of the best views of its surroundings – due to its strategic elevation in the Canlubang, Laguna area – lot owners can also expect cooler climate and quiet nights in the exclusive property.

Developed especially for people who seek a peaceful personal retreat from the outside world, the project also allows residents to enjoy the company of good neighbors and lavish village facilities.

Built within the masterplanned Nuvali eco-development, the development’s lots have enjoyed noticeable price appreciation over the last 18 months, showing that it is a very viable financial investment. With just a few lots left, wise buyers would do well to see for themselves in Laguna why the area appeals so much to those who easily see themselves living there.

With less than five residential lots per hectare of land, residents have all the space they need to build their own swimming pool, create a lush garden paradise for their families, and even host intimate gatherings or big parties for friends and relatives. It has all the space one needs to create a dream home.

With homes averaging four to five for each hectare in the 60-hectare sprawl, residents will truly indulge in a privacy their homes can provide.

Meanwhile, idyllic social spaces within the community allow bonding with neighbors and close friends. In the clubhouse dubbed Pasa Tiempo (Spanish for “passing time”), originally a home created for the Yulo family by National Artist Leandro Locsin, residents will soon have a venue for fun, relaxed neighborhood activities imaginable.

Residents living within the area can easily entertain parties of varying sizes and themes, or choose to take part in organized activities designed to enrich or enhance the experience of a life attuned with nature.

With uplifting amenities designed to inspire members of the community to get back in touch with their creative side or rekindle their interest in a long-neglected hobby–whether it be arts and crafts, cooking, reading or even journal writing –it’s easy to be motivated in an environment of lush greens and lakes teeming with life.

Those with active lifestyles will be inspired to join biathlons or triathlons often held in the area –and training will be easily facilitated by the well-planned roads and pathways for runners, bikers, joggers and walkers.

For those interested in individual pursuits, they may indulge in some time recharging their souls, quietly reflecting in the chapel or as they meander around the soothing open spaces provided by the Greenways – the expansive greenery with winding paths set in between choice lots that act as a buffering zone and a natural source of fresh cooling air.

A neighboring Bird Sanctuary provides another green zone that replenishes the fresh air.
